Tasting note
A deep garnet red that is bright and lively with a cherry red edge. On the nose, the wine has intense, spicy ripe fruit notes. There are aromas of black pepper, sweet licorice, nutmeg, coffee, vanilla and cinnamon. Full of flavor, it is very expressive on the palate. This is a juicy wine with pleasant acidity and a complex, elegant yet powerful finish. Campeador is a timeless wine with excellent potential for further aging.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with braised lamb, roast beef with herb crust, Iberian chorizo, spicy tapas or aged Manchego — ideal for hearty, aromatic dishes with a Mediterranean twist.
Vinification
Various grape varieties, springs and plots are produced separately. Selected handpicked grapes. Fermentation in wooden barrels with aging in new American oak barrels.
