Tasting note
This dry Riesling is an excellent entry-level product in the originating quality hierarchy of “Dr. Fischer” wines. It is straw yellow in color, with the classic Moselle “slate note” on the nose and refreshing notes of citrus fruits.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish appetizers and vegetable soups.
Vinification
This steep slope is located above the city of Saarburg on a slope facing south. The slope ranges from 30 to 60 percent and the soil consists of medium-gray, fine-leaf slate. The wines on this special steep slope are characterized by their minerality and elegant structure.
