Tasting note
The Riesling sparkling wine appears in a bright golden yellow. On the nose, complex aromas of yellow stone fruit, bright flowers, some quince, mandarin and a touch of brioche inspire. The palate likes the perfect balance of fruit and acidity, again lots of yellow fruit, yeasty notes, delicate and fine perlage and a long and dry finish. An extremely fresh Riesling sparkling wine for the best hours of the year.

Vinification
The Saar Riesling Cremant is produced using the classic champagne process. As a result, the base wine undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle, which results in a mild perlage. The bottles are traditionally shaken by hand. The Riesling sparkling wine is stored on the yeast for approx. 3 years before it is disgorged. Florian Lauer also produces unique reserve vintage sparkling wines which can be stored in the bottle on the yeast for up to 30 years.
