About the wine

Weingut Werner is located in Leiwen on the Moselle, where one of the most important white wine vines is at home. There, Riesling grows on steep slopes on mineral slate soils, which gives rise to the unmistakable character of these wines. Bernhard Werner's credo is closeness to nature. He therefore cultivates his vineyards entirely without artificial fertilisers. He is also a member of the Leiwen Young Winegrowers Association, who have successfully implemented their vision of producing exclusively high-quality wines.
