About the wine
The Grans Fassian winery was founded in 1624 by the Grans and Fassian families in Leiwen on the Moselle, the oldest German wine region, and has long been one of the absolute top German wine producers. In 1982, the passionate winemaker Gerhard Grans took over the business from his father Matthias and expanded the vineyard area from then 4 hectares to 13 hectares. With his tireless desire for greater precision and refinement, he turned Grans-Fassian into a top company, which has received prestigious awards from year to year.

Tasting note
Cool radiance with mineral-stony notes and intense citrus fruit. Elegant, delicate and right on the palate with lots of substance, extract and a wonderful arc of suspense.
Vinification
Selective manual harvesting, controlled fermentation over six weeks at around 12-15° degrees in stainless steel barrels. 5 months on fine yeast, then bottling.
