About the wine
Weingut Werner is located in Leiwen on the Moselle, where one of the most important white wine vines is at home. There, Riesling grows on steep slopes on mineral slate soils, which gives rise to the unmistakable character of these wines. Bernhard Werner's credo is closeness to nature. He cultivates his vineyards entirely without artificial fertilisers. He is also a member of the Leiwen Young Winegrowers Association, who have successfully implemented their vision of producing exclusively high-quality wines.

Tasting note
Finely fruity, uncomplicated Riesling, which is a lot of fun, smells like a bowl full of ripe fruit, especially of peach and apricot, accompanied by mineral tones, lively, fresh, with a very slight residual sweetness and stimulating acidity.
Culinary recommendation
Excellent aperitif wine, also ideal with asparagus, strong freshwater fish, spicy Asian dishes and light summer dishes.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation in steel tanks, followed by aging in classic barrel (one fuder corresponds to 1000 liters).
