About the wine
Weingut Dr. Loosen has been family-owned for over 200 years. When Ernst Loosen took over the winery in 1988, he quickly realized that he had the opportunity to produce unique and large Rieslings with the estate's roots, which are between 60 and 100 years old and are located in the most famous vineyards on the Moselle. Ernst Loosen is convinced that great wines come from great passion. We want to produce wines that tempt you to enjoy, that are concentrated and complex and that reflect their origin in an unmistakable way.

Tasting note
Inviting aromas of pear, peach and small red fruits in the glass. Juicy, playful and dynamic on the palate, with a pleasant acidity. An elegant and lightweight cabinet classic!

Flaschenpost team is recommended with mushrooms, prawns and Asian food.
Vinification
After manual harvesting, the selected grapes are gently pressed and then fermented in steel tanks in a temperature-controlled manner. Fermentation is stopped by cooling so that the wine maintains a residual sugar content.
