About the wine
The “Falkenstein” winery in Vinschgau is cultivated independently and according to his own philosophy by Franz Pratzner as a member of South Tyrol's Frien winegrowers. The winery has been family-owned for over 400 years. Franz Pratzner has been a self-marketer since 1995 and has since then earned an excellent name for himself among South Tyrol's winemakers. His Riesling is even one of the best from all over Italy.

Tasting note
The South Tyrolean Riesling DOC from Weingut Falkenstein is greenish, light yellow in color, delicately floral on the nose, slightly ethereal with a typical mineral scent and delicious citrus aromas. Reminiscent of apricot, quince and green apples Lively, elegant and long in the finale.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with antipasto, aperitif, fish and seafood, poultry.
