About the wine

The Stagård reading farm is located at the foot of the Wachau, in the Kremstal wine region and is run with great commitment as a quality-oriented family business whose winemaking tradition dates back to the 17th century! The company has had its Swedish name for around 30 years, due to the marriage of mother Elisabeth and father Kenneth. Today, son Urban and partner Dominique cultivate around 10 ha of vineyards. At the beginning of 2005, the farm was converted to organic and organic viticulture! Ecologically sustainable ways of thinking and economic practices enable the production of living products, and avoiding chemical agents protects nature in the long term.
