Tasting note
Dense red In the nose, flower fields, dried hay, cherries, pepper. Fruity on the palate, slightly peppery with soft tannins from barrique aging and a smooth finish. Christian Gerber planted this Pinot Noir from the southwest of France in 1987 as a reminder of Switzerland. Today, his son Simon is in the cellar and makes at least as nice wines. With this Pinot Noir, Simon won the silver medal at the Millesime BIO 2023 Challenge.
