About the wine

At the beginning of the 80s, the Garcia hotelier family from Burgos acquired the old cooperative in Gumiel de Mercado. Love for wine and the Ribera del Duero region played an important role in this great commitment. Under the leadership of sisters Carolina and Yolanda, the company has worked its way up to the top of the Ribera del Duero. Tinta del Pais (Tempranillo) is planted on 100 ha of vines.
