About the wine
Bodegas Peñafiel, whose vineyards are 750 to 900 meters, is located in the heart of Ribera del Duero. Every single bottle of the bodegas contains a part of this region: the composition of the air, the intensity of the colors, the crackling dry heat of summer and the damp scent of winter. The production of wines from low-yield vines is limited in order to achieve a consistently high quality standard from year to year. Peñafiel also has vineyards in Rueda and Toro.

Tasting note
La Milla de Miros is characterized by a deep, ruby red color. On the nose, it develops a complex bouquet of ripe red and black fruits, accompanied by spicy notes and a hint of vanilla, which indicates aging in oak barrels. On the palate, it is full-bodied with well-integrated tannins, balanced acidity and a long, elegant finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled meats, game dishes, aged cheeses and hearty stews. Its structure and depth make it an ideal companion for rich dishes.

After careful harvesting, the grapes are traditionally vinified. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for several months
