About the wine
Sisters Yolanda and Carolina focus on sustainability and top quality, which they consistently implement. They avoid chemical fertilisers, irrigation and pesticides and cultivate their vineyards in harmony with nature. Instead of the permitted 7000 kilograms per hectare, Valduero harvests a maximum of 4000 kilograms, in some vineyards even just 1000 kilograms. Their premium wine “Una Cepa” (“A vine”) stands for this philosophy: Only as many bottles of wine are produced as there are vines. This approach protects the environment and creates wines of exceptional quality and character.

Tasting note
Nice cherry red. On the nose, an explosion of fruit aromas and spices. The wine is fleshy on the palate with juicy tannins and lots of fruit, yet muscular and full of finesse.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meat, blue fish, aged cheeses and cold cuts.
