About the wine
Bodegas Peñafiel, whose vineyards are 750 to 900 meters, is located in the heart of Ribera del Duero. Every single bottle of the bodegas contains a part of this region: the composition of the air, the intensity of the colors, the crackling dry heat of summer and the damp scent of winter. The production of wines from low-yield vines is limited in order to achieve a consistently high quality standard from year to year. Peñafiel also has vineyards in Rueda and Toro.

Tasting note
Clear ruby red color Ripe fruit on the nose and subtly spicy roasted aromas. On the palate, it is full-bodied with diverse aromas and ripe tannins. The aftertaste is long with perfect harmony between fruit and tannin.
