About the wine
BODEGAS PINNA FIDELIS was founded in 2001. The name is a tribute to the site of the basic site, the village of Peñafiel. The vineyards extend over a strip of 5-6 km wide, for a length of 15 km along the Duero River for a total of 200 ha. The vines in the plain thrive on sandy gravel soils, which ensures fruitier, slower ripening grapes, while the clayey, stony and hilly soils allow the grapes to ripen faster and produce wines of a firmer structure. Modernity and tradition are in perfect harmony at Pinna Fidelis, producing red wines that are produced exclusively from Tinta del País (regional synonym for Tempranillo).

Tasting note
Lively cherry red, intense aromas of raspberries and red currants as well as ripe black fruits, spicy nuances that blend beautifully with the vanilla wood note, fleshy and elegant with well-integrated tannins, long-lasting finish. Aging for 12 months in French and American oak barrels and 3 months in bottle.
