About the wine
Like so many Ticinese people in the 19th century, Cherubino Valsangiacomo, son of a winemaker, saw emigration as the only chance of a good future. He founded a winery in Valencia, which is now run by his great-great-grandson Carlos.

Tasting note
Dark cherry red. Aroma: Bouquet of dark components, such as cherries and wild berries with a touch of cinnamon. Character: Elegant start on the palate, full-bodied with beautifully integrated tannins. Soft structure with an impressive concentration of fruit, chocolate and sweet vanilla. Warming finale.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with stews, grilled meat and cozy get-togethers.
Vinification
Aging for 6 months in new American 225 liter barriques.
