About the wine
Forcada is currently the only winery in Rioja that can bear the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve emblem. Chemical fertilizers, herbicides and fungicides have been avoided on these steep slopes for years. The harvest is done exclusively by hand and Forcada is committed to sustainability.

Goes well with grilled meat, lamb dishes, hearty stews or aged cheese.
Vinification
Grapes harvested by hand, primary maceration in stainless steel tanks at 5°C, fermentation at a maximum of 25° for 10 days, aging in American and French oak barrels for 26 months.
