About the wine
Blooming and sunny landscapes of the Douro Valley give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Portuguese winery Quinta das Carvalhas conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. With the dominant Touriga Franca 2015 — Reserva DOC, nuances and accents are redefined. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Touriga Franca with tapas or red meat.

Tasting note
Intense aromas of ripe, cooked fruit (plum, berry jelly, cherry jam), dried fruit and spicy and roasted aromas (tobacco, liquorice) are revealed in the nose. The finely crafted and nuanced bouquet leaves no doubt as to the origin. This Reserva proves that the Douro Valley is not only able to produce magnificent port wines. It is a delicate, profound quality wine with structure, substance and harmony, which are fully developed in a long-lasting finish.
