About the wine
A powerful, tannin-rich red wine that captures the essence of the autochthonous Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso grape. With its intense berry and herbal aromas, this wine is an authentic homage to the Friulian wine tradition.
Tasting note
The Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso is ruby red with purple reflections. On the nose, it develops an intense bouquet with hints of berries and herbs. On the palate, it is tannic, full-bodied and persistent, with a pleasant freshness and a slight herbal tone.
Culinary recommendation
This wine goes well with grilled meat, game dishes and aged cheese. It is also very suitable as an accompaniment to traditional Italian dishes.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully harvested by hand. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature to preserve the original aromas. The wine is then aged in stainless steel tanks.
