Tasting note
Redoma appears in garnet red glass with a rich core. As usual, it has a firm character: The aroma reveals the herbal notes typical of the Tinta Amarela grape variety. This is accompanied by aromas of fresh red berries and expressive notes of pink pepper. On the palate, it is light-footed with noticeable length, which, with the stems used, makes for a compact and beautifully structured wine. With its long, spicy finish, it demonstrates balance and precision, which it owes to aging in large wooden barrels.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with lamb, game, poultry, fine cuts of meat, stews, mushrooms, beef.
Vinification
Special selection. The grapes are brought with 100% stems to a stainless steel warehouse with automatic ramming equipment, where they are mashed for a short time. The wine is then aged in large wooden barrels for about 22 months.
