Tasting note
Dense ruby with purple reflections; fruity, spicy on the nose. Ripe black fruit, plum compote, hot spices, some tobacco, mon chéri. Subtle roasted aromas, light vanilla. Complex, elegant density; on the palate, the wine appears juicy. The grippy tannins are elegantly integrated. Strong body, spicy. Meaty texture Medium-long aftertaste, the long aftertaste is almost mineral-like.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with meat skewers, spicy pasta variations and grilled vegetables.
Vinification
After the selective harvest, the grapes are fermented in a classic way. The young wine ages in French barriques for twelve months. After bottling, the wine is left to rest for another six months before it is sold.
