About the wine
Gerhard and Brigitte Pittnauer, also known as Pittis, cultivate around 20 ha of vines (95% red and 5% white) around the municipality of Gols in Burgenland. Gerhard took over the company from his parents in the early 90s and managed, in just a few years, to turn the company from a small no-name company to one of the region's up-and-coming producers. The Pittis have a creative approach to viticulture and its products.

Tasting note
Dense ruby red. On the nose, spicy aromas of dark berries and cassis, delicate of blackberry jelly and dark cherries. Juicy on the palate, powerful with a distinctive structure and a finesse of acidity. Great maturation potential.

Perfect with braised beef or veal, goulash or steak.
