About the wine
Bertani makes Recioto from grapes from the Valpantena hills, the same varieties used to make Amarone. The Recioto is dense and velvety, but never sweet; it leaves a clean palate with a nutty aftertaste that makes it unique among sweet wines: a sweet, intense red wine with elegant oak tannins.

Tasting note
An intense ruby red sweet wine with a wide variety of aromas on the nose: from typical notes such as plum, cherry and raspberry to spicy notes of vanilla, hay and cocoa. On the palate, it is full, fragrant and intense. The sugar content is not high and leaves a long aftertaste of berries, chocolate and licorice.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with bakeries or fruit cakes and impresses with its combination with young and medium-aged cheeses.
