Tasting note
Intense ruby red. On the nose, aromas of dried cherries, plums and chocolate, accompanied by spicy notes. Full-bodied on the palate, with fine sweetness and harmonious acidity. Long, elegant aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with gorgonzola, chocolate desserts, tiramisu
Vinification
The grapes are dried after harvesting (appassimento) before they are slowly fermented and aged in wooden barrels.
