About the wine
If you want to surprise a wine connoisseur, then with this dominant red wine 2018 — Recanati Reserve Carignan! The winemaker from the Israeli winery Recanati Winery greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside. Tasting note
The “Recanati Reserve Carignan” reveals deep notes of black plums, cherries, berries and pecans. This magnificent red wine has a full body, nice complexity with balanced acidity and a persistent spicy finish.
Culinary recommendation
Enjoy it with rich dishes such as goulash with peppers and parsley, entrecote with red wine shallots or a piece of hard cheese.
Vinification
It consists exclusively of selected Carignan grapes, which are harvested by hand. After pressing, the wine is aged for 12 months in mostly new French oak barrels. The new barrels help to retain the concentrated and deep flavors.
