About the wine
Blooming and fertile landscapes in Sicily give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Baglio di Pianetto conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. We have a special, provocative Merlot from 2013 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. Tasting note
A fine aroma of ripe fruit (plum, sweet cherry, elderberry), berries (blackberry, blackcurrant) and exotic spices (cinnamon, licorice) characterize the bouquet of this Sicilian. The round, soft tannins and the melt leave a delicious impression, which — supported by the fresh, fruity, profound structure — offers a delightful experience. In the finale, Ramione presents itself as a complex, rich and elegant representative of a wine-growing region that has a lot to offer and always attracts attention.

Goes well with lamb gigot with herb marinade, venison pepper, pizza, red cabbage and pizza alla Siciliana.

Aged in equal parts in barriques and double barriques (French oak barrels with a capacity of 500 liters) for 18 months
