Tasting note
The nose is lively with aromas of white flowers and stone fruit. It is balanced, dry, with a refreshing yet subtle acidity and a touch of minerality. The aromas are bright and persistent with fresh fruit and a hint of ruby red grapefruit.
Culinary recommendation
It goes very well with a light summer lunch with tuna or salads.
Vinification
Only red grape varieties such as Pinotage, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are planted. Each vintage is developed individually. The special climate, which is typical of the region, creates ideal conditions for the growth of grape varieties. Despite the relative proximity to the sea, the region's prime locations reach altitudes of up to 800 meters. There is a Mediterranean climate here all year round, which is characterized by low rainfall summers and very mild and rainy winters. The soils range from sandy, nutrient-poor substrates to rich soils with a high proportion of granite. As a result, the Malans achieve excellent results every year and their wines are now appreciated all over the world. Rainbow's End is a recognized producer of pure, high-quality Cabernet Franc. Cabernet franc is particularly suitable for making exquisite rosé wines. This Cabernet Franc Rosé is made from a selected plot of the winery that has been harvested for optimal clarity and quality.
