About the wine
The 6-hectare Quinta do Cume has a state-of-the-art press — the realm of oenologist Jean-Hugues Gros. He had studied at the Ecole des Vins de Bourgogne before working in wine-growing regions in Morocco, California, Bordeaux and Champagne before finally choosing the Douro Valley, where he worked with great success.

It was aged in steel tanks. 40% of the wine matured in French barriques for 4 months.
