About the wine
The 6-hectare Quinta do Cume has a state-of-the-art press — the realm of oenologist Jean-Hugues Gros. He had studied at the Ecole des Vins de Bourgogne before working in wine-growing regions in Morocco, California, Bordeaux and Champagne before finally choosing the Douro Valley, where he worked with great success.

Vinification
The grapes come from old vines. It was aged in steel tanks. 40% of the wine matured in French barriques for 6 months.
