Tasting note
The scent of lilac and roses is mixed with the aromas of cassis and cherry jelly, orange peel, gingerbread and freshly roasted coffee beans. Although sweet, it appears very winey due to its distinctive tannins and robust acidity. A spicy note is added to the intense taste of pickled fruits such as amarena cherries. The finish lasts long and with seductive enamel.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with dark chocolate, blue cheese (such as Stilton), nuts or fruity desserts.
Vinification
Traditional Lagares fermentation with foot steps, aging for 4-6 years in large oak barrels.
