About the wine
The winery was founded in 1899 by José Joaquim Costa and his wife Maria José Sequeira. Today, the estate is run by José Joachim Costa's great-great-granddaughter Maria da Graça and her husband. Quinta de Sequeira is in a prime location in the Douro Superiore. This is known for the high quality of the grapes.

Tasting note
Intense color with purple and purple reflections. A wonderfully complex bouquet of ripe red fruits, cassis and fresh red pepper. Good volume and structure, dense and wonderfully juicy, supported by well-integrated tannins. Elegant with a long aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meat, game dishes, large roasts, leg of lamb. It should be something hearty.
