About the wine
Do you already know the dominant Cabernet Sauvignon Quatro Red Blend of Colchagua Valley with the 2018 vintage? If not, it's time! The beautiful and sunny landscapes of Valle Central give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Chilean winery Montgras conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Cabernet Sauvignon is ideal with Gruyère Burger or Ribeye Steak.

Tasting note
The sunny climate of Chile allows the grapes to ripen! On the nose, ripe fruit aromas (elderberry, cassis, raspberry) reveal dried, tropical fruits. This is accompanied by spicy notes that are reminiscent of licorice, vanilla, cinnamon and cocoa. The intense bouquet is rounded off by aromas of licorice and tobacco. This cuvée presents itself accordingly: rich, powerful, with ripe, velvety tannins and an accessible, seductive structure that lasts. Only grapes picked by hand are used to press Quatro. The ageing in small oak barrels gives this blend an additional note, which runs through from the nose to the long-lasting finale. It is an exciting cuvée that has a lot of substance, body and enamel.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with lamb, turkey, beef burgers, T-bone steak, spare ribs, and duck.

Aged for twelve months partly in barriques and partly in large oak barrels
