About the wine
The origins of the Pecchenino winery go back to the 18th century. It has always been owned by the family and is always passed on from father to offspring. Since 1987, it has been owned by brothers Orlando and Attila Pecchenino. The winery is located south of Barolo and comprises 26 ha of vineyards around their manor house in Dogliani, and they also own a 3-hectare farm in Monforte d'Alba where they cultivate the vines for their Barolos and press the young wine at prime locations.

Tasting note
Intense ruby red. Complex bouquet of ripe red and black cherries, complemented by notes of graphite, flint and spices. On the palate, it shows fresh acidity, a full body and a remarkable balance. Long, persistent aftertaste.
