The winemaker from the Spanish winery Quinta Sardonia masteres this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the magnificent and picturesque landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). Tasting note
A wonderfully balanced garnet red cuvée with strong aromas of ripe black berries, cocoa, some plum notes and dried fruit. On the palate, it shows a nice freshness and a soft, very full body. Here, spicy notes of licorice and clove join the dense fruit; the pleasure is rounded off by an incredibly persistent finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled or fried lamb.
