Tasting note
Garnet red with shades of light brown. The aromas represent great complexity of red fruits, jelly, spices and vanilla. Great potential on the palate, soft, warm, powerful, with great structure, fine tannins and a very long finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with traditional meat dishes, hearty stews and aged cheeses. It is also suitable as an accompaniment to chocolate desserts, with the cocoa and spicy notes of the wine complementing the sweetness of the chocolate.
Vinification
15 months in new French oak barrels. Then in the bottle for another 6 months.
