About the wine
Bodegas Callia was acquired by Salentein in 2003. The impressive new winery building is equipped with the latest equipment, but not only. It has literally been built around the small old winery with the sole aim of being able to continue using the old cement/epoxy fermentation tanks, which have achieved excellent results in the past. The vineyards are located at 650 and 1400 meters above sea level in San Juan. It is classic Syrah land, which is planted with old, sometimes even root-based Syrah clones, a heritage that many San Juan wine regions envy.

Vinification
Aged 50% in French and American barriques for 16 months.
