About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Trus has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the picturesque and enchanting landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). Tasting note
Its color is thick purple with black reflections. Baked trees and ripe blackberries in the complex nose, underpinned by nut chocolate, black cherries and blueberry jelly, seductive and impressive at the same time. Powerful start to the creamy, soft palate, juicy tannins and beguiling extract sweetness, again lots of black fruit and now also caramelized almonds and dark-roasted coffee, enormous reserves right up to the unforgettable finale.
Culinary recommendation
It is particularly suitable as an accompaniment to beef fillet, braised knuckle or lamb cutlet. You can also serve this wine with game dishes, mushrooms and oxtail or with aged cheeses.
