About the wine

From the steep hills of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene region — a unique symbiosis of human skill and nature — this noble prosecco is produced in its driest version: Brut. This Prosecco Superiore DOCG Millesimato from La Marca impresses with crystal-clear straw yellow and a fine, persistent perlage. It embodies the elegance that reflects the character and origin of this world-famous wine-growing region. This prosecco is produced by La Marca, a traditional cooperative from Veneto, which has stood for quality, sustainability and authenticity since 1968. With over 5,000 winemakers, La Marca combines passion, craftsmanship and innovative spirit in each of its wines.

Tasting note
The nose is dominated by clear notes of green apple and pear, complemented by a touch of wisteria and white flowers. On the palate, it is decisive and lively, yet soft and fresh at the same time, with a harmonious and balanced mouthfeel. The perlage is fine and persistent and underlines the freshness and elegance of this wine.
Culinary recommendation
With its dry and full taste, this prosecco is the perfect companion for elegant dinners. It goes particularly well with fish — in particular with raw specialities such as sweet red prawns and oysters — as well as with sushi, caviar or clams. It is also an excellent choice with hard cheese and pata negra lardo.
Vinification
The grapes harvested by hand are gently pressed to optimally preserve the aromas. The must is then fermented with selected yeasts at a controlled 15°C. The second fermentation takes place using the Charmat method at low temperatures, which gives the wine its characteristic fine and persistent perlage.
