About the wine

The Bosco del Merlo winery is owned by the Paladin family of winemakers. It is located between Veneto and Friuli, near Venice and not far from the Adriatic Sea and the Dolomite Alps. The family invests all their passion in nature. “An excellent wine is first made in the grapevines and in the cellar.” Their production is focused on bringing the typical aromas of each individual grape into the bottle. Bosco del Merlo is an environmentally friendly agricultural company. The name was derived from the old maps, the oak forests (“Bosco del Merlo” literally means “blackbird forest”), which remind these countries of the old times. Carlo Paladin, one of the three owners, personally carries out the agronomic and oenological work.
