Tasting note
A delightful wine that combines the elegance and smoothness of Merlot and Syrah with the noble rigour of Sangiovese. Elegant structure with strength, density and fine tannins. Very juicy and accessible even when young.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with braised meat, game, pasta with strong sauces or aged cheese.
Vinification
The three types of grapes are fermented separately. After mash fermentation, assembly takes place in spring. The Promis matures in barriques for 12 months, followed by 6 months of bottle aging.
