About the wine
90% Cariñena and 10% Garnacha from 60 to 80-year-old vines form this distinctive wine. On the nose, multi-faceted with notes of rose hips, hibiscus flowers, cedarwood and thyme, underscored by a fine, mineral touch. Powerful yet elegant on the palate, with noble fullness, precise structure and vibrating tension right down to the long-lasting finale. A real treat for the palate — it is best to decant before serving.

Tasting note
It appears deep dark in the glass and gives off an intense bouquet of ripe black fruits, plums and blackberries, accompanied by fine herbal and spicy notes. Powerful and complex on the palate, with a dense structure, velvety tannins and a precise, mineral freshness that comes from the characteristic slate soils of Priorat.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with braised or grilled lamb, beef pot roast, game dishes and spicy Mediterranean dishes. Also excellent with aged hard cheese or hearty tapas such as jamón ibérico and fried mushrooms.
