About the wine
The winery was founded in 2007 and is located in the center of Tavoliere delle Puglie, a historic town where the Daunii once settled in the 10th and 11th century BC. Massimo Leone pays attention to the connection between history and modernity by growing exclusively autochthonous grape varieties. Vines are now cultivated on 12 hectares of vineyards with rocky soil in Posta di San Nicola d'Arpi. Low yields combined with high quality are Massimo Leone's goal.

Tasting note
Deep ruby red, complex on the nose. From the intense fruit sensations of red currants, cherries and black pepper and clove compote, then violets, all surrounded by a fresh balsamic note. In the mouth, it is powerful and soft, with an enveloping fruity and herbal taste and a very long finish.

Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Primitivo IGP harmoniert ideal mit Pizza, würzigem Hartkäse und rotem Fleisch.
