Innovation, quality and versatility are the principles of Real Sitio de Ventosilla. In addition to various other agricultural activities, the finca also specializes in viticulture. The grapes were sold to Pesquera and Protos for a long time before the rise of Ribera del Duero prompted the landlord to rethink. The first Prado Rey was pressed in 1996. The best sites planted with grain up to now have been replanted with young vines. 520 hectares of the estate are now planted with vines. The eight vineyards, some of which are located directly from the Douro River, benefit from different terroirs. The oenologist Francisco Martin San Juan enjoys free rein in the modern bodega. Highly award-winning wines are the results of his pioneering spirit, tenacity and passion for wine.
