Tasting note
Color: ruby red with golden brown edges. Aroma: Complex aroma of ripe, dark berries, cherries and plums. Hints of minerals, vanilla, licorice, roasted notes and smoked. Character: Nice balance on the palate with distinctive tannin, complex with a strong finish, elegant and harmonious aftertaste. It is only produced in the best years. A top wine from Ribera del Duero!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with game, roasts, beef stroganoff, beef birds with mashed potatoes, but also with modern dishes and much more.
Vinification
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Aging in French oak for 24 months, a further 6 months in large oak barrels. Aging in bottles for 18 months.
