About the wine
Pouilly-Fumé: The municipal appellation is located on the upper course of the Loire southeast of Orléans in central France. The area covers over 1,000 hectares of vineyards in seven municipalities. The name is derived from the town of Pouilly-sur-Loire on the right bank of the Loire (which gave its own AC the name) and the attribute Fumé (smoke). This refers to the flavorful limestone and flint soil (fusil).

Tasting note
Clear straw yellow Wonderful aromas of exotic fruits, pink grapefruit and gooseberries, with subtle mineral notes (flint). Complex and rich on the palate. Long fruit finale.
Culinary recommendation
Goes very well with seafood, grilled sea fish, poultry and veal. Harmonious with young Brie, goat cheese or Saint-Albray.
