Tasting note
Just across from Sancerre, in the village of Les Loges, Sauvignon Blanc grows on light flint and limestone soils. After gentle pressing, the must ferments in tempered stainless steel tanks and then lies on the fine yeast for months, all without wood. In the nose, ripe apricot, lemon and typical flint smoke. Firm acidity, salty minerality and a cool, long finish characterize this clear, straight-lined pouilly fumé.
