Beautiful and picturesque landscapes of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon) give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Portia conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity.

Tasting note
The Portia Crianza impresses with an intense bouquet of red fruits such as cherries and blackberries, underpinned by spicy aromas of vanilla and a slight woody note that comes from barrel aging. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with a well-integrated tannin structure and balanced acidity. The aftertaste is long and pleasant, with hints of cocoa and a velvety finish.
Culinary recommendation
This tempranillo is ideal with grilled meat, in particular beef steak or lamb. It is also a perfect accompaniment to aged cheese and tapas.
Vinification
The malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by a 12-month aging in American and French oak barrels.
