About the wine
In 1918, Manoel Domingues Poças Junior founded the company Poças Júnior, which today is still a large independent Portuguese family company that vinifies port wines and wines from the Douro. Three vineyards, which are located in different regions of the Douro and all benefit from optimal exposure, make up the winery.

Tasting note
Full red color. Intense aromas of ripe berries. Dense and full-bodied, balanced and a very long aftertaste in the mouth.
Culinary recommendation
Goes particularly well with strong cheeses (Stilton and Roquefort) and dark chocolate.
Vinification
Controlled fermentation with extended maceration.
