About the wine
Intense nose with aromas of black currants and blackberries, spices (black pepper) and a mineral background. Nice substance on the palate, fleshy and rich with notes of black fruit and minerality carried by tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, steak au poivre, leg of lamb, duck confit with spices, game ragout and cheeses.
Vinification
Grapes from the “Les Cras” and “Lambots” plots. Traditional winemaking with aging in oak barrels, 20% of which are new.
