Tasting note
Silver and green shimmers flash in rich lemon yellow. The aroma immediately takes the sense of smell to a southern orchard in full bloom: wonderfully ripe apricot, a touch of kiwi, nectarine, a refreshing citric touch pointedly rounds off the bouquet. Fruity on the palate too with a hint of mint. Crunchy, juicy, flowery — the spring-like treat for every season.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with light antipasti — but also on its own.
Vinification
Trebbiano, Malvasia and the local Roscetto thrive around Lake Bolsena at 400 meters above sea level. For the historic cuvée, the Cotarella family reserves the most promising grapes from the calcareous soils. After careful harvesting in late September, Falesco ferments and vinifies the varieties separately, thus expressing the individualities of each individual in the entire work. After the marriage, the taste is refined by aging in the bottle for several months.
